Solution:
Please verify the BCM if it has no problem.
Sounds like you damage BCM. BCM is dead. If car was ok before you touch it, then tool kill BCM. It will give you warning on part number to check that BCM die if try to read PIN program Prox. Buy new BCM.
Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus should do it, it’s easy pin puller unless it has one of the bad bcm‘s, then you will FK the BCM…..

- Lonsdor K518 key programmer: done in 5 minutes.
Operation path: Immobilization -> Nissan -> Select from vehicle -> North American -> Rogue -> By type -> 20-bit PIN -> Program key.
Notice: Do not perform key programming on the BCM with Part NO. 284B1 – 4CB1A, do you want to continue? click on “OK”.
Turn on emergency light / Turn ignition off.
All keys will be deleted.
Turn ignition on with the 1st key, keep the ignition on until the dash lights is on and the security light flashes 5 times. Click “OK” to continue when finished.
Please switch ignition off.
Programming complete.
Click not “OK” to program the next key.
Switch ignition on with the first key.
Turn ignition on to check if the engine can be started.
Programming complete.

Look at the following image showing obdstar can program key for Nissan (North America area) Rogue including Blade key and proximity key. For 2014 – 2016 year Proximity key, it can add key, program all keys lost and program remote.

Please be informed:
depends on the BCM, when you get one of the problems you’ll realize that nothing can be done.
Nissan smarkey is fast with any programmer when BCM is good no glitches.
If you didn’t manage communication in the first attempt at programming it’s because someone had already tried them, at this moment you can’t do anything, neither with Autel, nor Lonsor… BCM has a problem.
We have heard that 2014 -2018 Nissan Rogue has problems with the BCM (Body Control Module ) which is used for programming the key. Some of these BCM are defective and some were recalled. Please research the issue regarding these year vehicles. The BCM may become disabled. Check to see your customer’s service recalls in regard to the BCM being replaced or not. Use with caution and research the vehicle history before attempting to program.
