R270+ BMW CAS4 BDM Programmer is good to read, write and erase M35080 Series (35080/35080-V6/35080-VP/D80 D0WQ/D160/35160, etc). This blog will show you how R270+ read& write & erase BMW M35080.
Select correct MCU “D80 D0WQ/”
Select “M35080/160D” button on the left
Select IC Type “D80 D0WQ/” and DAS Odometer Type “Type 1”. Click “Read” button
It will show “Decode”, just wait a while.

Save dump file
Now you can see the odometer, click “Erase Odometer” button. And it will show “Decode”, also wait a while.
Save bin file, Erase EEPROM
Write success
Now you can see the odometer is successfully erased by R270+ Programmer.
If you fail to use R270 to work with M35080 EEPROM, firstly you have to remove M35080 chip and then plug it into the IC socket, this IC socket is designed for M35080 EEPROM. If your programmer can read but not write, best option is get another chip, load data and then write.
